Abstract

1334346 Optical projection OPTISCHE WERKE G RODENSTOCK 7 June 1972 [8 June 1971] 26610/72 Heading G2J An image of the cross-section of a contact lens 19 is produced by arranging the lens in the path of light between a condenser 12, 14 and an objective 20 inside an immersion vessel 15 which contains a liquid 25 whose refractive index is close to that of the contact lens. The image may be viewed on screen 23 and compared with templates. A reflector, e.g. prism 18, may be arranged to provide light directed at an angle to the projection path.
