Abstract

Kinematograph systems.-For the reproduction of moving pictures with a continuously moving film, the film a is arranged near to a collecting lens b and at the focus of a lens system c whereby the image is projected to infinity. In the path of the rays is placed a rotatable reflecting drum consisting of plane mirrors d<1>, d<2> - - for compensating the movement of the film. The rays are reflected through a single lens system c<1> and collecting lens b<1> to a gate g where a stationary image is produced and then projected on to the screen by the lens h and mirror j. In a modification a single large collecting lens b is used in conjunction with the lens c and the rays are reflected back through the lenses c, b to one side of the optical axis.
