Abstract

219,332. Wild, M. July 18, 1924. Roller and roller heads. -In a drawing-mechanism wherein the pressure rollers act by their own weight, the upper intermediate roller 1 is driven from the lower roller 2 by toothed wheels a, b situated at the middle of the rollers. In a modification, to ensure uniform engagement of the teeth and an even drive, two relatively displaced toothed wheels are provided side by side on each roller, as shown in Fig. 3.
