Rollers. - The positively driven rollers 3, 4, 5, of the drawing- mechanism of machines for preparing and spinning yarn are mounted eccentrically on their journals, as shown, or are provided with one or more cam-like parts so as to exert a continuously or intermittently varying draft, and are arranged so that when one line is exerting an increasing or increased draft the adjacent line or lines are exerting a decreasing or decreased draft.
