459,561. Roller-driving gear for producing slub yarn. YORK STREET FLAX SPINNING CO., Ltd., CRAWFORD, J. G., and McKIBBIN, A., Henry Street, Belfast. Oct. 9, 1935, No. 27843. [Class 120 (ii)] A differential is introduced in the draft gearing of spinning-frames, particularly wet frames for flax, of which the sun-wheel F is intermittently rotated by a clutch-wheel G operated by a lever K controlled by a pattern chain M, whereby the back roller shaft R<1> is accelerated at intervals relatively to the front roller shaft R to form slubs in the yarn.
