Abstract

140,216. Aspin, A. March 31, 1919. Rollers.-Four top pressing-rollers are mounted on a single arbor in drawing and spinning frames. In existing machines, the adjacent ends of two ordinary arbors may be connected by a sleeve coupling, or, as shown in Fig. 3, one pair of rollers may be integral and provided with bores D to receive the adjacent ends of two arbors. The rollers are preferably of less diameter than usual. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that more than four rollers may be mounted on a single arbor.
