Abstract

127,702. Greg, H. P. May 31, 1918. Rollers and roller heads. - In the drawing of cotton or like yarns or fibres in spinning or like machines, a pair of small pressure rollers b, c of equal weight are used with the intermediate bottom driven roller in each drawing-head. The combined weight of the pair is less than that of the usual single roller. The rollers are mounted as near each other as practicable, and the front roller as near to the front drawing-roller as practicable. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that the rollers may be applied to the front or to each drawing-roller. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 6884/15.
