160,745. Sõchsische Maschinenfabrik vorm. R. Hartmann Akt.-Ges. March 23, 1920, [Convention date]. Twist tubes for spinning carded yarn, and especially for use in ring frames, are provided with a notch a having wedge-shaped lateral surfaces, as shown in Fig. 3, so that when the tube is rotated a suction effect is produced which draws the yarn through the tube automatically. The upper end of the tube is provided with a notch so as to produce, in known manner, an oscillatory motion of the yarn.
