Abstract

447,721. High draft apparatus for spinning-frames. HONDA, K., 41, Jusohigashino-cho, 1-chome, Higashiyodogawa-ku, Osaka, Japan. Sept. 30, 1935, No. 27007. [Class 120 (ii)] Guide cradles for the belts of high draft apparatus for spinning-frames comprise upper and lower pieces 8a, 8b interlocked by pin- and-slot connections 9, 10, 9a, 10a, the upper piece carrying a top roller held in place and pressed toward the bottom roller by springs 13, and the lower piece being detachably secured to the frame of the machine by a spring 15a and a spring-key 16. The springs 13 are secured to sides of the upper piece and extend around a projection 11, and over and behind a projection 12 to provide a bearing- recess for the top roller. Tension bars 4, 5 for the belts are respectively carried in holes in the top piece and in recesses in the bottom piece.
