Abstract

254,866. Courtaulds, Ltd., and Topham, C. F. June 23, 1925. Rollers.-A pressure roller for sizing textiles is formed of a central spindle H surrounded by a rubber or other resilient cylinder K, the space between the spindle and cylinder being partially filled with a liquid such as water. In a molificalion, the central part of the spindle H is out away, the roller being driven from both ends.
