Abstract

Vaporizers, external.-The intake manifold of a multicylinder engine has encircling gutters d for collecting particles of liquid fuel before they are drawn into the end cylinders; they are returned by pipes d<1> to two tubular projections c<1> of a vaporizer which comprises a cylindrical exhaust jacket surrounding the induction pipe a. The exhaust is led by pipes e through tubular projections c<5> and returns to the main exhaust conduit by a pipe e<5>. The revaporized fuel reaches the induction pipe again through orifices c<3>.
