Double and multiple hinges.-For a motor vehicle with a detachable or folding hood or top and with the pivot axis f<1> of the door hinges out of vertical alignment with the pivot axis e<2> of the window hinges, the window hinges e<1> are attached to the window c through the medium of links h, which are connected by hinge joints g to the window hinges and adapted to slide in guides on the frame of the window. This arrangement enables the door and window to retain the same relative position in the open and closed positions.
