Abstract

213,729. Talbot, E. C., and Redstone, A. W. Sept. 20, 1923. Bookbinding.-In a gummed-stub album, each stub-leaf b is bent back upon itself to form a narrow fold b', which is attached by adhesive to the upper surface of the stub below. The prints or documents d to be bound are attached to the upper surface of each stub-leaf, which is coated with adhesive. The fold of the lowest leaf is attached by adhesive to the cover a, and a gummed strip c, attached to the uppermost leaf, is stuck to the backs of the stubs and to the cover. The stub-leaves may be alternated with plain leaves or strips.
