213,105. Etchells & Son, Ltd., D., and Etchells, D. H. March 15, 1923. Forging bolts.-A press for forging bolt heads in two stages is provided with ejectors c, c<1> for both the dies a, a'. The ejector c<1> is operated as usual by a spring pressed slide e<1> having an inclined end f<1> directly engaged by the crank-operated sliding block B which reciprocates the die-head A. The ejector c is operated by a block e, of the shape shown, rod j, and lever g having an inclined end g' engaged by the block B. The provision of the ejector c allows the cavity of the die a to be made with a quick taper.
