Reinforced concrete. -A fabric reinforcement for concrete road foundations, floors, piers, gangways, &c. and of the kind having top and bottom reinforcing wires, consists of longitudinal and transverse units a, b of triangular, rectangular, or channel shape and formed of large-mesh wire fabric, the units b being threaded through the units a. Each unit may be separate, or a number of parallel units may be formed by corrugating a length of fabric. Electrically welded or other fabric capable of being folded longitudinally may be used. The units are assembled together on the site and may be connected by wire binding.
