Abstract
209,708. Kanegafuchi Boseki Kabushiki Kwaisha. Jan. 15, 1923, [Convention date]. Reeling-machines.-Cocoons are supplied to the basin of a silk reeling-machine from a magazine comprising a disc 5 provided with pockets 6 and rotated through a distance equal to the pitch of the pockets by ratchet gearing connected by levers and links 18, 19, 20 to a finger-key 21. The cocoons are placed in the pockets and the filaments thereof are connected to a stem 22. The key is operated as required and a cocoon, freed thereby from a guide plate 9, drops down a tube 8 into the basin, whereupon its filament is caught by the supplier 3 and united to the ends being reeled.
