Ammoniacal-copper cellulose solutions, processes for making filaments from; apparatus for making filaments.-In the manufacture of artificial silk from cuprammonia cellulose solutions by the stretch-spinning method, the coagulating- liquor in the spinning vessel is renewed or replenished from the tank into which this vessel depends simply by the surface friction of the threads passing therethrough. The threads are washed either after or before twisting, and are eventually wound on bobbins, reels, &c.
