Controlling different functions by same handle or lever.-In an amusement vehicle in which an electric motor 27 drives a traction wheel 23 through variable-speed friction disc gearing 22, the friction gearing is controlled by movement of the steering column 27a about a transverse pivot 28. The steering column is connected by a lever 30 and a rod 34 to a sliding frame carrying the friction rollers 22. The steering-shaft 42 is rotated on its axis to steer the vehicle.
