Abstract
208,681. Erste Br³nner Maschinen Fabriks Ges. Feb. 23, 1923, [Convention date]. Casings.-Relates to the method of mounting the nozzle diaphragms for turbines and' turbocompressors described in Specification 208,664, [Class 110 (iii), Turbines, &c.], in avoiding the use of separate split liners by employing a single diaphragm a<1> as the supporting body for each group of diaphragms a, this diaphragm a<1> having an annular flange z fitting with radial clearance a casing groove f. The diaphragms a may be connected to the supporting diaphragm a<1> by bolts h, as shown to the left of the Figure, or, as shown to the right, the diaphragm a<1> may be constructed as a split bush, and the diaphragms a secured thereto by a series of separate milled' blades e.
