Abstract
206,130. Krupp Akt.-Ges., F. Oct. 24, 1922, [Convention date]. Electromagnets.-In a lifting magnet in which a protective plate B of non-magnetic metal is provided at the lower end of the space receiving the coil, a packing-plate G is arranged between the casing A and the protective plate. The plate G is preferably a thin sheet of magnetic material, and the protective plate B consists of hard steel, such as chromium steel. The plates are secured to the poles a<1>, a<2> by the pole-shoes C, D and screws E, F. Specifications 26144/07 and 10283/09 are referred to.
