Hoods and weather-screens. -In motor-car bodies constructed with a folding hood and having folding windows hinged to the top rail or upper edges of the doors of the body, in a cavity of or against the inner frame of which the windows are stored when folded down, the folding hood E is of the usual type but is modified so as to leave a clear rectangular space F from the windscreen to the rear of the rear door, and brackets H<3> are carried by the windows to form, in conjunction with spring pins H<2> carried by brackets H, H<1> on the cantrail G, hinges for the raised windows in alignment with the door hinges. The windows consist of glass panes in metal frames K which are hinged to the door by hinges L, so that the windows are adapted to fold down against the inside of the doors and are there protected by a padded frame M.
