Regulating delivery by opening suction valves.- In a fuel pump in which the delivery is regulated by opening the suction valve, the shaft n connecting the governor to the valve-gear is mounted in a fixed bearing p provided with a tubular lining t which is loose in the bearing and on the shaft, and is oscillated by a moving part of the pump.
