202,877. Baguley, E. E. Oct. 20, 1922. Disc wheels. - Railway wheels comprise a sheet metal rim a bent to form a running flange a<1> and an inwardly directed flange a<2> at the opposite side, and dished sheet metal discs b, d adapted to fit within the flanges a<1>, a<2> and converging towards the centre of the wheel where they are secured together and to the hub flange c<1>. The discs and rim are secured together by welding, riveting or other means.
