Abstract

195,216. Forsyth, G. H. Feb. 1, 1922. Disc wheels.-In disc wheels wherein a detachable rim 16 is supported between the peripheral flange of a single disc 11 and a separate flange or rim 20 bolted thereto, the tyre valve is rendered easily accessible by being passed at 23 through the transversely bent part 14 of the disc. When a double disc is employed in combination with one separate flange as shown in Fig. 3 or two such flanges as shown in Fig. 5 one of the discs is formed with a pocket as shown at 26 and 32 to accommodate the valve 22 and render it easily accessible.
