A wheel for travelling cranes or similar purposes comprises a rim 19 of tough, resistant steel and a separate hub 17, with closely-intermeshing lugs 18, 16, respectively, secured together by a bolted-on side disc or, as shown, a pair of discs 20 in face contact with the lugs and in close circumferential contact with the rim and hub members.
