576,712. Vehicle wheels. STEVENS, A. H. (Clark Equipment Co.). Jan. 19, 1945, No. 1596. [Class 144 (i)] In a resilient wheel comprising rubber discs 26, 27 clamped between flanges 7, 16 secured to the hub 5 and a web 18 formed with the rim 19, the rubber-engaging face at one side of the web 18 is constituted by a disc 23 secured to the web through spacer-bars 20. The pockets between the bars form ventilating passages between an opening 12 at the wheelcentre and the free space at the inner surface of the rim 19.
