Abstract

202,292. Schneider et Cie. Aug. 11, 1922, [Convention date]. Submarine vessels. - The space in the rear of a reinforced flat bulkhead or in the rear of a spherical bulkhead is utilized as a storage place for water, fuel oil, or other liquids, a space being reserved for a communic ation door. In one form, the space between two bulkheads B, C with reinforcements b, c constitutes the storage space, which is reduced to an annulus by the reservation of the space for the communication door E. Where a spherical bulkhead B, Fig. 4, is employed, spaces D for storage are formed by providing secondary partial bulkheads C, C<1>.
