Abstract
202,251. Pack, W. May 19, 1922. Dark-slides; envelopes.-A sensitized film 40, Fig. 1, is enclosed in light-tight paper envelope 44, and has a perforation at 43 which is engaged by a pin in the dark slide, the pin being caused to penetrate the paper envelope. The film has inclined edges 41, 42 forming a cutting-edge, so that, when the dark slide is fitted in the camera, and the tab 55 of the envelope is pulled, the cutting-edge will tear through the end of the envelope and allow this to be withdrawn, leaving the film, which is held by the pin, in the dark slide. A sensitized plate 80, Fig. 3, may be adapted for similar use by attaching thereto by adhesive members 76 a metallic cutting-plate 75 perforated at 77.
