[Class 98 (i)] A carrier for photographic films or other sensitive material having a support of thin flexible material, e.g. paper or celluloid, comprises two envelope elements one of which has one wall in the form of a mask and the other has an open end to receive the sensitive material, interengaging stops to prevent complete separation of the envelope elements being provided, one of which is in the form of a bent over flap on one element, the elements being made of paper or similar material. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the carrier consists of the envelopes 26 and 38, the envelope 26 having one wall formed with a masking aperture 25. The film 42 is mounted on a strip 35, one end of which is bent round to engage one margin of the aperture 25 as at 137. The inner envelope 38 is closed at one end and provided with a draw tab 39. To prevent complete separation of the envelopes interengaging flaps 40, 41 are provided. In one modification the strip 35 supporting the film is dispensed with, the film being held against withdrawal by an adhesive tongue on the outer envelope. Alternatively, an aperture is provided in the rear wall of the outer envelope and a seal 45, Fig. 12, passes through this and is stuck to the film at 47, the opposite end 46 being stuck to the inner envelope to prevent the parts being separated until required. In a further modification, the flaps 40, 41 are replaced by a bent up portion on the inner envelope, which engages the edge of the masking aperture 25 of the outer envelope when the inner envelope is withdrawn.
