[Class 98 (i)] In carriers for photographic sensitized material of the type comprising inner and outer envelopes separable for exposure, such as described in Specifications 445,611 and 452,013, one of the envelopes carries a flexible tongue which slides in a slot on the other envelope when separated for exposure. As shown in Figs. 1 and 5, the outer envelope is formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1 by folding. The blank comprises panels 24 ... 27, the panel 25 having a mask aperture 28 for exposure. In assembly, the sensitive paper 29 is attached to the panel 27, the inner envelope 20, Fig. 5, is then passed over the panel which is then folded along the line 34 to lie against the panel 25. The panel 26 is then folded along the line 41 and a tongue 30 is passed through a slot 23, Fig. 5, in the lower end of the inner envelope 20, the end of the tongue being secured to the panel 24 by a label 63. On exposure, the inner envelope is drawn upwards and the slot 23, sliding on the tongue 30, prevents complete separation of the envelopes. In a modification, the panels 24, 26 may both have central slots, the outer portions of the panels, when folded, forming the tongue on which the inner envelope slides. In the form shown in Fig. 15, the tongue 60 is carried on the inner envelope 20 and slides in a slot 62 in the outer envelope.
