Abstract

479,472. Postal-folders &c. NORFOLK STUDIO, Ltd., and SEELEY, G. H. Aug. 12, 1936, Nos. 22236 and 24159. [Class 146 (ii)] A folder or wallet for use in sending photographs &c. through the post comprises a sheet having three areas 1, 2, 3 divided by creased fold lines, the central area 2 being slit at 4, 5 and carrying a strip, or strips, of adhesive 14 for the attachment thereon of a photograph &c., the area 1 having a securing tag 6 joined thereto, whereby on folding the first area 3 on the area 2, the area 1 may be folded thereover and the tag thrust from the rear into the slit 4, 5. In another form, the tag 6 is provided with adhesive 7. End flaps 8, 9 may be provided on the area 2, .and mating ribs 10 and depressions 12 may be provided on the areas 1, 3 respectively. In a modification, there are provided two adhesive strips on the area 1, a fly-leaf on the area 3, and a pocket on the area 2 which has an adhesive strip thereon. In a further modification, there is an adhesive strip on each of the areas 1, 2, and a pocket is formed on the area 3, the area 3 and pocket being easily detachable from the area 2 along a weakened line. A sensitized sheet may be secured to the central area 2 by an adhesive strip-on the latter. A pocket may be formed on each of the areas 2, 3.
