813,466. Greeting cards; pictures. COMMERCIAL THREE DIMENSIONAL CO. Ltd. July 12, 1957 [Sept. 20, 1956], No. 28832/56. Classes 11 and 146(2 [Also in Group XX] A card or folder which can be inserted in an envelope for mailing purposes is formed as a stereoscopic viewing device and comprises a card or like folder having front and back leaves hinged together and embodying means for viewing righteye and left - eye images and a support upon which pictures may be mounted or printed and which is hinged to the front and back leaves so as to form therewith a collapsible parallelogram such that the folder can be folded flat or opened out to position the picture support for viewing through the viewing means. As shown, the card comprises folding leaves 11, 12 of which the front leaf 11 carries spaced lenses 14, 15 and is slit at 17 to form a nose-accommodating flap 19. Stuck to the front and rear leaves 11, 12 at 28 and 24 respectively are side flaps of a double-thickness card 22, 23 having apertures mounting picture transparencies 20, 21. The rear of the card may be covered by a translucent sheet 30. Lenses 14. 15 may be replaced by light filters, the pictures being appropriately coloured.
