217,716. Enemaerke, R. J. May 3, 1923. Dark-slides.- A darkslide comprises a frame 1 and a shutter-slide 4, the rear part 2 of the frame having a flexible extension 3 the end of which is attached to the rear part of the slide 4. The dark-slide may be constructed of light-proof paper, cardboard, or similar material which is not affected by the developing liquid. The extension 3, which may be made of thin light-proof paper of the same width as the frame 1, limits the extent to which the slide 4 may be withdrawn and prevents entry of light. A frame 10 may be provided between the slide 4 and the plate &c. 5, and may have an upper extension 11 to keep out light. The lower edge 6 of the slide 4 may be concave.
