244,514. Cunynghame, Sir H. H. Sept. 16,1924. Camera lucidas.-Apparatus for copying pictures &c. comprises a holder b for supporting the picture C to be copied, a carrier a for the copy is made, and a sheet of glass c arranged between the supports b, a so that a reflected image of the picture may be seen upon the paper A. On the side of the glass remote from the picture is provided a thin coat or film of material, such as celluloid varnish or grease, to avoid a double reflection. When varnish is used it may be tinted as dasired. The plate of glass c is disposed so' as to bisect the angle between the plane of the picture and that of the copy.
