Abstract

200,140. Brown & Barlow, Ltd., and Brown, C. March 6, 1922. Addition to 160,215. Spray carburettors.-The parent Specification describes a carburettor in which rich mixture, produced in a chamber k, is admitted direct from a groove c to the. main air in a mixing chamber a formed in a eliding throttle valve b, the amount of rich mixture being regulated by the groove according to the position of the valve. According to the present invention, the delivery of mixture to the chamber a is through a peripheral groove g and a series of radial passages i, or through a perforated diametral pipe. The fuel supply may be controlled by a needle valve f.
