Abstract

198,091. Loosley, E. M. March 2, 1922. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Attaching to perambulators, bicycles, &c.-An umbrella or sunshade is attached by straps 3, Fig. 1, to a semicylindrical plate 1, lined with felt, &c. which has a boss 5 cooperating with a boss 8 on a clamp 7. The faces of the bosses are serrated, one being concave and the other convex, and are maintained in the desired angular relation by a nut 9 on a screw 6, which projects from the boss 8. The clamp 7, which is attached to the handle-bar of the perambulator &c., comprises two curved portions 13 lined with felt &c. and pivoted together, a screw 15 and nut 16 effecting the clamping- action. The clamp 7 instead of gripping the handle-bar may surround a cross-bar 21, Fig. 2, of a bracket 20 secured to the side of the perambulator by screws or by a clamp 22. Specification 115,574 is referred to.
