Abstract

304,083. Rumble, A. J. April 24, 1928. Mudguards.- Means for attaching mudguards to pedal cycle frames comprises brackets 11, 18 provided with open slots s into which screws 8, 16 respectively are inserted and secured by wing- nuts. The lower bracket 11 is clipped to the fork by a band 10 and the upper bracket is secured to the crown 19 by a screw 21. The rearwheel mudguard is secured to the bridge-piece 20, Fig. 5, by a bracket 18 which is slotted to pass between a washer 22a and a wing-nut 23 by which it is clamped. The other end of the bracket is similarly slotted and is engaged by at wing-nut 16<a> secured to the mudguard 1.
