Abstract

The bicycle handlebar bracket is an angle-piece of light alloy with a foot coupled to the front fork steering tube and an arm extending forwards from the top with a cylindrical collar for the central part of the handle-bars. The free end of the arm (12) forms a top jaw (16) for the collar, while the bottom jaw (20) is a half-collar fitting against it from underneath and secured by a clamping screw on one side and a C-shaped metal plate (32) on the other. The plate has flanges engaging detachably received in grooves (26, 28) in the jaws and open towards the inside of the collar. The central part (34) of the plate fits between the handlebar tube and the jaws.
