Abstract

193,633. British Thomson - Houston Co., Ltd., (General Electric Co.). Jan. 27, 1923. Vacuum tubes. - Two continuous conductors 9, 10 connected to a filament 13 are sealed in metal sockets 7, 8 sealed in vitreous tubes 5, 6 through which the conductors pass. An outer vitreous tube 1 is sealed to a metal tube 2 forming the anode, to which an external connection may be made. A grid 15 is supported by wires 17 from a ring 18.
