Abstract
15,657. Alexeiff, L. Nov. 5. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-In two-cycle engines with oppositelymoving pistons A, B, the cylinder is constricted in the neighbourhood of the combustion chamber H so as to increase the surface area and reduce overheating. The constriction G may be cylindrical, rectangular, hyperboloidal, or lentil-shaped. The piston ends are not plane, but may be conical, spherical, or arched, so as to increase their surface area.
