Valve-gear regulating. -In a radial-cylinder or other engine, one or more inlet-valve cam-swells m and exhaust-valve camswells l, in two or more planes, are carried by a sleeve h which is longitudinally adjustable for varying the timing of the inlet valves. The sleeve is secured to an internally toothed wheel t gearing with one of a pair of pinions r, s driven from a wheel q on the crank shaft. The inlet and exhaust valves may be concentrically arranged as described in Specification 2819/15.
