Channels in valves and valve-chests.-A disk valve 15 controlling the admission and exhaust of one or two internal-combustion engine cylinders is journaled at 16 and driven by the gearing 13, 12, 11. Its upper part is enclosed by a casing 17 and its lower part is exposed to the splash of lubricating- oil in the crank chamber.
