Hasp fastenings.-In fasteners for wagon doors &c., and for curved articles such as magnetos of the kind shown in Fig. 1 and comprising a hook A on one side X engaging with a pin P fixed to links B pivoted to a lever L at a point C at a short distance from the fulcrum D of the lever L so as to give a toggle-link action when the handle L<x> of the lever L is raised and lowered, a staple T, which enters a slot M in the lever L, is provided on the base F, carrying the brackets G for the lever fulcrum D, for the insertion of a padlock shank &c. Fig. 4 shows a fastening for magnetos and other curved articles.
