March 24 Latches, lift; hook fastenings.-The door of a tram, mine tub, or like vehicle is fastened by a pivoted bar A, on which is mounted a bolt F adapted to shoot into a slot E in the staple D and retain the hooked end B of the bar in engagement therewith. A spring-pressed catch G slides in a recess in the bar A and locks the bolt F, the catch being operated by the tongues A thereon. -Specification 9557/03 is referred to.
