Spray carburettors.-In a carburettor of the kind described in Specification 7171/12, in which an air and mixture controlling sleeve carries an adjustable f u e l needle valve, additional means are provided foradjustiog, from the handle-bar or steering -column, the position of the needle valve relatively to the sleeve. The controlling- sleeve a is actuated by the Bowden cable b, the outside member b<2> of which is secured to the cover c<1> of the casing c. An extension d' of the sleeve a passes through the cover c<1> and encloses a socket d<1> from which the needle e is suspended. This socket is actuated by a second Bowden cable g', the outer member g<2> of which may be adjusted, by rotating the parf f, to set the needle normally. For any position of the air-control sleeve, the needle valve may be independently adjusted from a distance by the cable g'. The sleeve a and socket d' are returned by springs b<3>, f<1> respectively. A bell-crank lever may replace the cable b as the actuating-means of the sleeve a.
