Sliding tubular valves; safety-valves. - An adjustable air - supply valve, Fig. 4, for diving - suits comprises a spring - controlled slidable sleeve 20 provided with apertures 19 adapted to register with apertures 18 in a casing 17. This valve also acts as a cut-off valve in the event of the air pressure supply being too high or too low. An exhaust or relief valve, Fig. 2, comprises a sliding member consisting of the parts 31, 29, and 32, apertures 30 being adapted to register with apertures 27 in the casing when the air pressure under the cap 31 becomes excessive and is sufficient to overcome the spring 33.
