8978. Enfield Cycle Co., and Smith, F. W. April 9. Pistons.-A piston suitable for two-stroke-cycle internal-combustion engines is composed of two cup-like members a, e connected together by a rod b. The bottom member is provided with an annular groove f which receives the bottom edge of the upper member. The lower member carries the gudgeon-pin, and the upper member is made convex and concave towards the inlet and exhaust apertures respectively.
