Jan. 1: Regulating. - A pulsation-preventing device for centrifugal compressors comprises a throttle valve 19 situated in the inlet pipe 17 and operated by a volume-responsive device consisting of a float 26 also in the inlet pipe. The connexion 23 between the float and the valve is adjustable and the balance weight on the valve is also adjustable.
