Pressure-regulating valves. - A gas-governor has the actuating-means arranged in a chamber adjustably connected to the valve casing so that the actuating-chamber may be kept vertical while the valve casing is rotated to adapt it to vertical inclined. or horizontal pipe lines. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the valve B' adapted to co-operate with a seat c in a casing B<2> is connected to a spindle B coupled to a pair of actuating-diaphragms A, A<1> by toggle links A<3>. The diaphragms are loaded by weights X and by a compression spring arranged on the spindle B. The diaphragm chamber is faced at Y and has a series of holes E, any diametrically opposite pair being adapted to receive bolts passed through holes in a pair of lugs on the casing, which has a faced surface to correspond with the surface Y. In a modification, a single diaphragm is used and a flange is formed on the casing instead of a pair of lugs.
