Abstract

6816. Patterson, F. M. March 19. Casings. - A globe valve comprises a body formed of sections 3, 4 adjustably connected together by bolts and having secured between them a diaphragm 2 stamped as at 9 so as to provide a valve seat 7, the plane of which is inclined to the axis of either or both of the ports 11 and also to the plane of its flanges 6. Flanges 13 are secured to the sections 3, 4 by indenting the metal into recesses 14. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 13,855/00.
